Hi, I’m Colleen!
I'm the founder of a mobile DIY plant boutique where creativity and greenery go hand in hand. As a mom of four and a military spouse, I’ve learned that turning a house into a home often starts with a touch of green, whether it's a thriving live plant or a cozy, hand-knit one. My mission is to make plant care approachable, fun, and personal, because everyone deserves a little green in their life.

Starting Out
Knit and Planty became a reality in early 2023, just as all four of my kids were becoming school-age. Combining my two favorite hobbies-plants and knitting, felt like a natural fit.
That spring, I participated in my very first farmers market with a small collection of plants and hand-knit goods, and I instantly fell in love with the experience.
We're Growing
Each year since, I’ve continued to refine my products, displays, and overall vision. In 2025, Knit and Planty grew again with the addition of a three-wheeled mini truck—a fun, mobile shopping experience and a great conversation starter.
